Project Manager

Elliott Contracting is seeking a Project Manager that is responsible for managing multiple projects at various stages, overseeing projects from pre-construction to closeouts. They will effectively and professionally lead day to day Design and Construction management of significant elements on large scale projects, including procurement, installation, and commissioning. Delivering within budget and schedule to the satisfaction of the client, users and local community. Project Managers will:

• Schedule staffing and materials for all projects
• Manage the bid process
• Analyze drawings/specifications
• Review proposals/project requirements
• Secure required permits/utility services
• Secure materials in a coordinated manner working with Purchasing Department to reduce risk.
• On-site job walk-throughs
• Maintain and issue change orders, request for information, pay application support and close-out documents
• Keep informed of new electrical codes, technology, techniques and practices
• Oversee all works of the trade contractors, contributing to the selection of subcontractors, and suppliers
• Develop clear, detailed and practical measures of performance to meet project objectives
• Regularly inspect work for compliance with design and report on progress, ensuring remedial action is taken within agreed timelines
• Work with Design Team to ensure information is correct and to code, including pre-fab planning.
• Be aware of monthly figures, taking proactive action to prevent losses and maximize profitability.
• Provide project update through bi-weekly Project Reviews.
• Maintain all records, including letters, e-mails, notices, and site drawings.
• Provide quality service to all clients in a professional and ethical manner.
• Ensure jobs are following Company’s Safety Program.
• Perform tasks as assigned.


• Must have minimum three (3) or more year’s extensive experience / knowledge of construction, design, and cost management as an Electrical Project Manager or similar position in Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Institutional, Entertainment, Hospitality, Medical - High Tech, Multi-Family, or Retail - Multi Use new construction
• Have thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.) as well as an understanding of Company and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities
• Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company image
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
